We are conveniently located in central Boca Raton, at the corner of Glades Road and St. Andrew’s Boulevard.
Call Dr. Godder at (561) 900-4331. She will briefly discuss your questions and concerns over the phone prior to scheduling an intake appointment.
Intakes are introductory interviews that are intended to help Dr. Godder assess presenting issues so she can start to develop a holistic, personalized treatment plan. These sessions are scheduled to provide ample time to review your concerns and discuss your clinical history. Intake appointments last approximately 90 minutes and are required in advance of any regularly scheduled session.
For children, Dr. Godder requires that all legal guardians attend the intake appointment to discuss the reasons for seeking treatment. She also requires written consent for treatment from all legal guardians.
Each person’s needs are different. Following the intake appointment, Dr. Godder will provide you with a treatment course that is specific to your needs. In general, sessions are scheduled at the same time each week and are 45 minutes long. Family/couples therapy and parent consultations may last up to 60 minutes.
Yes. If there is consent from a legal guardian/parent and if it is deemed advisable, Dr. Godder will gladly consult and collaborate with a schools and teachers.
No. Dr. Godder does not work directly with insurance companies. Clients are expected to pay at the time their service is provided. Itemized invoices are provided at the end of the month for clients whose plans allow out-of-network coverage.
Dr. Godder accepts cash, checks, and most major credit cards.
You must provide Dr. Godder with at least 24 hours’ notice if you are canceling a scheduled session. Otherwise, you will be billed for the canceled session at your regular rate.
