Intakes are introductory interviews that are intended to help Dr. Godder assess presenting issues so she can start to develop a holistic, personalized treatment plan. These sessions are scheduled to provide ample time to review your concerns and discuss your clinical history. Intake appointments last approximately 90 minutes and are required in advance of any regularly scheduled session.
For children, Dr. Godder requires that all legal guardians attend the intake appointment to discuss the reasons for seeking treatment. She also requires written consent for treatment from all legal guardians.
